What are the laws on private after hours clubs in FL/Orange County/Orlando city?

How would one go about opening a private after hours club in Orlando?

1. You would need the proper business permits. If beer wine or liquor is being served then the appropriate license. If food is going to be served then you would need you and your employees to take a food handling course and receive the proper license.
2. If you club is opened after 2:00 am, you may not serve alcohol after that time. Here is a way to work around that - there is a law that allows customers to BYOB - of course there are limits & restrictions to this law. The best thing would be to decide is you plan to open this club in Orlando City Limits or Unincorporated Orange County - there are different regulations & permits with each governance. I would contact both (see links below) to start contacting the correct people to help you with permitting & zoning.
